Job Description

We are searching for an anesthesiologist to work two weeks per month in central Missouri. This is a group of 2 MD’s and 10 CRNA’s. Ideal candidates would be looking to supervise CRNA’s as well as do a wide variety of cases including some OB and cardiac. Minimal pediatric work (only healthy ENT cases) and trauma (hospital is not trauma designated). Anesthesia staffing is scheduled on a stair step model with the anesthesiologists starting their day at 7:00 a.m. and finishing at 5:00 p.m. The call is secondary to the CRNA’s except in the case of cardiac cases in which the physicians are on primary call (1:2). All call is taken from home and the physician would only be in the call rotation on their weeks when they are working. The salary is negotiable depending on the candidate and they are offering a full benefit package.
