Cardiac Anesthesiologist needed for Missouri.
LocumTenens.com is searching for a cardiac anesthesiologist to provide coverage at 198 bed facility in central Missouri for the week of December 22-31 & Ongoing for 2 weeks a month.
Holiday pay provided of course.
This hospital runs 7 ORs and cases are General, OB/GYN and open hearts.
There are currently 10 CRNAs and the LocumTenens provider would be supervising CRNAs and also doing own cases. It is 50% hands on anesthesia. You do not walk in cold to doing hearts. One of the permanent MDs would be there to help out if needed.
Our client prefers an anesthesiologist who is proficient in hearts but does not have to be cardiac fellowship trained. TEE capable is preferred.
Cases are 7-3.
Airfare is not provided but Mileage and Lodging and malpractice insurance costs are.
