Cardiovascular group of 7 BC cardiologists and 3 mid-level providers are looking for a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist-Job #15772 for one of their satellite offices just 30 minutes away, due to growth in the practice. The group performs coronary and peripheral interventions, diagnostic cath, pacemaker, defibrillators, EP studies, nuclear, echo, TEE, cardiac CT, & most recently Cardiac MRI. Expertise in peripheral interventions & nuclear cardiology is preferred. The satellite office is located adjacent to the hospital and encompasses echo and nuclear outpatient studies. The 250 bed hospital has one cath lab with a new GE lab expected in the near future which will have a digital flat panel detector and digital displays. Initially you would do interventions at their main hospital 30 minutes away. Here you would mold your own practice with back-up and support of a large cardiology group. Group will cover the office when you take vacation, CME, sick leave, weekend, & weeknight coverage. It is anticipated that you would join in the call rotation with the main group on an equal rotation basis, which would be 1:8.
