Job Description
Hospital will be starting an interventional cardiology program in the 3Q of 2006. A GE 64-Slice CT scanner will be installed in March of 2006, followed by an additional Phillips Cath Lab. Currently, the hospital has 3 cardiologists. Two of the cardiologist perform basic invasive procedures and have outpatient practices. The other cardiologist focuses on EP cardiology and pacemakers. The new physician would assume the roll of Chief Cardiologist and be Chairman of the department. Their primary care physicians have requested an interventional program, due to the number of cases they send out of the market. Their interventional radiologists are agreeable to refer all peripheral vascular work to the new interventional cardiologist and will provide coverage when he/she is out of town. A generous income guarantee is offered. Will cover marketing expenses and relocation expenses.
