WJ129249M - Seeking (2) BC/BE Cardiologist for coverage for 2 hosptials; a cardiologist for a Medical Center located between Arab and Guntersville, and a Cardiologist for a Medical Center located between Albertville and Boaz. One cardiologist is located in the South end of Marshall County. This physician wants to remain solo, however is open to a shared call arrangement. Cardiologists would need to perform heart caths as appropriate, take call for cardiology service for emergency department, inpatient consultations for medical staff, and see outpatients in office. No CV surgery available locally. There may be other call coverage possibilities that may be explored with cardiologist. However, there is a huge need for a cardiologist. It is the most common reason that patients are transferred out, and it is at the top of the list as a specialty that patients leave Marshall County for.
