Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cardiologists to participate in the continuing expansion of our multi-disciplinary Cardiology Service as well as the Community Cardiology initiative.
There are facilities for exercise ECG’s, ambulatory monitoring, echocardiography (including TOE), diagnostic cardiac angiography, and the insertion and follow up of permanent pacemakers. There is a well established heart failure service as well as hospital based cardiac rehabilitation. Responsibilities will include participation in the newly established Community Cardiology programme which will provide specialist cardiologist and nursing support to outlying areas of the MidCentral region. The 420-bed base hospital serves a population of approximately 155,000 people.
