Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota

The Division of Cardiovascular Diseases, which includes over 130 full and part-time cardiovascular specialists seeks a non-invasive cardiologist. You would be employed as a member of the Mayo Clinic Rochester Staff and would be located in Mankato, Minnesota.

Currently, we have seven Cardiologists' on staff in a mulitspeciality Clinic. A new Cardiology Building is currently under construction.

Immanuel St. Joseph's/ Mayo Health System in Mankato is a physician led organization that is quality driven and patient focused. An outstanding professional growth environment in a 2,000 employee Mayo Health System regional medical center. A first class clinic facility and a practice style which would be of interest to Physicians' who are comfortable in a traditional office and hospital setting. Managed care penetration is low here and payment problems are rare. The only hospital in the community which provides primary care to the local population, 60,000 with in five miles, and secondary services to some 300,000+ residents of South central Minnesota.

Mankato is a micropolitan area rated as one of America's most livable small cities. Mankato is a regional center for commercial, entertainment, higher education, retail, and health care services. A progressive community with: A very low crime rate; excellent schools, including two National Schools of Excellence that have obtained a Gold Medal rating (top 16% in the Nation); several area colleges, one of which is home of the US annual Nobel conference; outstanding four-season recreational activities; and many other fine quality of life characteristics.

Very easy access to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan area. There are fewer and fewer job opportunities occurring in parts of the country which offer both a satisfying professional career and an excellent quality of life. The Mankato area is one of them.
