Director of Cardiology Service Line

Job Description

Virginia location, Midway between the beach and the mountains; lots of outdoor recreational activities for all ages; good local and private schools available; reasonably priced real estate market; drivable to several colleges and universities. Position is responsible for direct management, performance, implementation and outcome monitoring of Cardiovascular Services. Departments include Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab and Non-Invasive Vascular Lab. Also responsible for developing marketing and outreach strategies, facilitating decision making process with Medical Directors, coordinating with nursing units in OR, Telemetry, Emergency, Home Care, Clinics and cardiac units for patient triage, physician needs and overall care delivery and developing, reviewing and achieving annual cardiac and vascular service line budgets. B.S. degree required preferred degree in healthcare related field. 5 years of departmental management experience. MBA or MSHA preferred.
