Critical Care Intensivist Opportunity in Central California

Job Description

We have an opportunity in a gorgeous area of California. Our hospital client is in need of Critical Care physicians to work at their facility while they are recruiting for an additional permanent physician. The schedule is flexible, you can pick up 3 15 shifts per month. The opportunity is to work in a CCU with about 7 beds. Typically this requires working at the hospital 8AM 2PM weekdays and 8AM 12 noon on the weekends. The shifts are 24 hours but when you have completed your daily patient care you may leave the facility the remainder of the day and carry a beeper for call. When on call you may receive a few questions by phone each shift but usually the physicians only need to return to the facility for on-site patient care about once a week.
