Job Description
The Register or log in for contact information is seeking a full-time, Board Certified Diabetologist to design and conduct a major initiative of the Medical Service in the diagnosis and therapies of diabetes. There will be a primary emphasis on education of providers, patients and trainees. A proven commitment to quality in diabetes care and clinical research are musts. Faculty level participation in planned multidisciplinary diabetology fellowship is possible for approriately trained individual. Candidate must be eligible for faculty appointment at the Albany Medical College.
Qualification Requirements:
1) U.S. Citizen or have proper authorization to work in the United States. 2) Have a degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. 3) Possess and maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. 4) Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Endocrinology. 5) AQ in Diabetology 6) Applicant must have outstanding clinical, interpersonal and teaching skills. 7) Proficient in spoken and written English.
