Emergency Medicine Opportunity in AL

Job Description

Emergency Medicine -- EM Physician Opportunity--Seeking 2 EM residency-trained physicians; Annual ED volume 51,000, 45 to 50 hours/day physician coverage, plus 12 to 24 hours/day PA coverage, Four to five shifts/day, circadian-friendly rotation, Well-established, democratic single-hospital group.

EM physicians all EM-board-certified, all but one EM residency-trained. Compensation package: Independent contractor status with Income Potential up to $300,000/year:
o Base pay $135/hour
o Evening & PM shift differentials add $5/hour & $10/hour to base pay
o Annual malpractice allowance paid quarterly
o Annual bonus up to $30,000 in quarterly payments, based on productivity/patient satisfaction
o Moving allowance paid



Income assistance (paid back with service) will be individually negotiated. In some cases, a signing advance and relocation advance may be offered. The length of income assistance depends upon the specialty and varies (6 months to 1 year) with the need.
