Job Description

Regional trauma center seeking 2 EM residency-trained physicians
Annual ED volume 57,000
50 hours/day physician coverage plus 12-20 hours/day PA coverage
Five-day block off every month
Well-established single-hospital group
EM physicians all EM-board-certified; all but one EM residency-trained.

- Base pay $160/hour
- Evening & PM shift differentials
- Annual malpractice allowance paid quarterly
- Quarterly bonus up to $7500 based on productivity & patient satisfaction
- Independent contractor status.

Relocation allowance
24/7 on-call coverage by board-certified specialists in all major specialties.
Hospitalist service takes unassigned general medicine admissions.
ED physicians do not write admission orders, sign death certificates, or respond to L&D for drop-in deliveries.
