A wonderful opportunity for a board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established single-practice group. The hospital does about 13,000 annual visits through the emergency room. The hospital is a licensed 44-bed, acute care hospital serving the local and surrounding communities for more than 40 years. A full-service facility offers medical, surgical, ICU and obstetric care. There is a 10-bed Emergency Dept offering trauma services 24/7 year round. The hospital has highly trained staff for critical cardiac, medical and surgical patients in their 7-bed ICU/CCU. Modern laboratory and radiological departments support busy inpatient and outpatient services. State-of-the-art equipment includes a spiral CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy and MRI. The Home Health Dept offers several health care support groups.
Medical staff specialties encompass internal medicine, cardiology, urology, general surgery and orthopedics, as well as pediatrics and obstetrics. Physicians are supported by a qualified and fully staffed nursing department. The market provides a great standard of living while providing a good payor mix with little managed care.
