Register or log in for contact information, a national leader in Emergency Department Staffing, is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Physicians for full-time, part-time, and per diem Emergency Medicine Opportunities at Bacon County Hospital.

Successful Candidates will have:

GA medical license, ACLS certification, DEA, GA Controlled Substance and 6 months current ED experience.

Shifts are single coverage/ 12-hour shifts. Physicians may work 12-48 hours maximum at this facility.

Bacon County Hospital is located in rural Alma, GA. Bacon County serves a population of 3,368. Alma is 2 hours (106 miles) from sunny Jacksonville, FL. Savannah is the nearest metropolitan city to Alma. All traumas are transferred to area hospitals in Savannah. Bacon County’s physician documentation system is the T-system. Attending Physicians in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, and OB/GYN are on staff 24 hrs a day. There is an on-call room available with t.v., shower and bed. In addition, meals are provided for the ED physicians at no cost.
