Excellent Opportunity with growing healthcare system only 1 hr from Washington DC. Hospital is seeking board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine physician. Employment opportunity. Full benefits package. ED Volume: 21,000 annually. 8 bed unit. Level IV Trauma Center. Expansion to increase the Emergency Department to 19 beds is underway. 12 hour shifts with mid-level provider working 12 hours daily. EM physician responds to in-house codes. 6 bed ICU on site. Well established & responsive transfer relationships exist for traumas. Environment provides a variety of patient at varied levels of acuity Community, Facility, & Organization Our hospitals are a not for profit healthcare delivery system.. The area boasts a steady 20% growth rate over the past five years while maintaining an unemployment rate of less than 5%. Housing is readily available and affordable with low property taxes. In addition, the area offers a welcoming environment for families. Our health care delivery system is growing aggressively and opportunities abound for qualified physician candidates. Compensation packages are very good; many include income guarantees, malpractice coverage, and health benefits. Most positions also include generous relocation expenses.
