Hospital, a 325-bed facility with a 327,000 service population, is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine Physician. Hospital offers 24-hour emergency and trauma care in its 20-bed Emergency Department and permanently designated Level III Trauma Center. The Hospital also opened a 4-bed Emergency Express adjacent to its main ED in the spring of 2005. The Heart Center at Hospital treats patients suffering from heart disease, offering cardiac cath, pacemaker implantation, stress testing, cardiac rehab and the only open-heart surgery and angioplasty program within a 90-mile radius. Hosppital celebrated its 100 years of operation with the completion of a $21 million three-story addition for new and expanded emergency, surgical and cardiac services.
