excellent opportunity for an Endocrinologist to join employed multi-specialty group. With one part-time endocrinologist practicing in a service area of over 260,000, this position would be a busy endocrinology practice in no time. Patients needing to see an endocrinologist sometimes travel over an hour to see one. There is a trained support staff with six diabetes educators who are experienced with an insulin pump program. The practice is located at 366 beds hospital. Research trials in Phase III and IV are available to participate in.


The practice is set in the in Northeast Iowa. The local state university provides cultural opportunities at the Center for Performing Arts and exciting sports events in the Gateway Conference. A popular state park with lakes provides a venue for fishing, boating and water sports. The area is experiencing a transformation with the introduction of the River Renaissance developing a river walk, art mall and amphitheater in the downtown area. A new Children's Pavilion to house numerous children's activities is being built. The area has school systems to be envied and a host of activities in which families can participate
