Gastroenterologist Position in NE Kentucky
Job Description
Disease Associates medical group is an established group of 3 seeking 4th, The group has been established in the area for 10+ years. Group is seeking MD/DO, preferably ABAT, but not a deal breaker, board certified in GI, ERCP is a plus but not required. 2007-2008 candidates. Tri-States office is located on the hospital campus making it easy to get to and from the Endscopy Unit. The Endscopy suites are owned by the hospital. The Endscopy Unit saw a total of 16,442 procedures for the fiscal year of 2006; averaging 43 cases per day. There are 6 GIs practicing at the hospital. The Unit has all Olympus equipment, 4 Endoscpy suites plus 1 Pill Cam procedure room. The Unit is fully staff with ancillary staff, 30 RNs and 5 LPNs. Compensation: The Hospital, will provide 1st year income guarantee of $380,Register or log in for contact information (for new grads, will negotiate up for docs with more experience). Student loan assistance is available, plus relocation expenses. The hospital will heavily market new physician by running ads, sending out announcements to all physician offices, and use Physician liaison introduce new doc to all referring physicians. Hospital information: Medical Center is a 388 bed comprehensive medical facility. We are a financially stable, not-for-profit organization that is locally owned and controlled. Just this year we have completed over $60 million dollars in new construction on campus. We employ 3,500 employees and we house most all major specialties by having 250+ physicians on staff. Hospitals service population is 450,000. Prayer mix breakdown is: 50% Medicaid 35% Private Insurance 15% Medicare No managed care There is a large market to be captured!
