Job Description
Established group of two seeking a third; group has been established in the area for 10+ years. Group is seeking MD/DO, preferably ABAT, but not a deal breaker, board certified in GI, ERCP is a plus but not required. Office is located on the hospital campus making it easy to get to and from the Endoscopy Unit. The Endoscopy suites are owned by the hospital. There are 6 GIs practicing at the hospital. The Unit has all Olympus equipment, 4 Endoscopy suites plus 1 Pill Cam procedure room. The Unit is fully staff with ancillary staff, 30 RNs and 5 LPNs.
Compensation: The Hospital will provide 1st year income guarantee of $450,000. Student loan assistance is available, plus relocation expenses. Waivers: J1 and H1B acceptable.
Hospital is a 388 bed comprehensive medical facility. It is a financially stable, not-for-profit organization that is locally owned and controlled. They have recently completed over $60 million dollars in construction on campus and are the largest employer East of Lexington, Kentucky with 3,500 employees. Hospital houses most major specialties and has 250+ physicians on staff. Hospitals service population is 450,000. Prayer mix breakdown is: 50% Medicaid; 35% Private Insurance; 15% Medicare; No managed care. There is a large market to be captured!
