Multispecialty group seeking to bring another physician on board. Currently, this group is comprised of one GI and three Pulm/CCs. Group is seeking MD/DO, FMG, J1 or H1b, board certified in GI, ERCP is a plus, but not required. This office is located approximately 7 minutes from the hospital campus. The Endoscopy Unit saw a total of 16,442 procedures for the fiscal year of 2006; averaging 43 cases per day. There are six GIs practicing at the hospital. The Unit has all Olympus equipment, four Endoscopy suites plus one Pill Cam procedure room. The Unit is fully staffed with ancillary staff, 30 RNs and five LPNs. This is an employed position; insurance, malpractice, and CME will be covered.
Hospital is a 388 bed comprehensive medical facility; a financially stable, not-for-profit organization that is locally owned and controlled. They have recently added over $60 million dollars in new construction on campus. They are the largest employer East of Lexington, Kentucky with 3,500 employees and house most major specialties with 250+ physicians on staff. Hospital service population is 450,000. Prayer mix breakdown is: 50% Medicaid; 35% private insurance; 15% Medicare; no managed care. There is a large market to be captured!
