We had only one GI, but he has retired. In addition, he was not board certified, so some of our GI needs had to go out of area for treatment. Candidate needs to be BC/BE. We are looking for experienced candidates, or we will consider 2007 or 2008 residency / fellowship graduates in the following specialties with an interest in practicing for a number of years to come (less than 50 years old). Each of the above docs need to be US trained or completed a US residency / fellowship. We will accept visa candidates (as long as they have good English communication skills). Given our current population base, however, the community could easily support two full-time gastroenterologists. A second full-time gastroenterologist is needed now. All recruitment options available: full employment, full employment with the future intention of branching into private practice, or private practice with a full income guarantee. We simply want to recruit and retain the best physicians possible. Future residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
Our hospital was the first medical center on the West Coast to enable physicians using commonly available hand-held digital devices to get up-to-date patient information using our electronic medical records systems.
