Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to establish a practice to satisfy an identified community need. This practice opportunity includes a competitive first year income guarantee, overhead expenses, relocation, and marketing assistance. Regional Medical Center is a 137-bed comprehensive health care facility serving a four county area with a population of over 125,000. Located in southern, middle portion of the state, the facility provides offers a wide continuum of services including complete obstetric, medical, surgical, intensive and step-down services. Together with its strong core of primary care physicians and a diverse staff of specialists, Is able to provide regional services that set this facility apart from traditional community hospitals. In 2003, the facility’s admissions were over 5,100 with close to 19,000 emergency room visits.
