Physician for Mobility Evaluations

Job Description

We are a nationally-accredited durable medical equipment company specializing in motorized wheelchairs and scooters.

We are in need of mobile physicians across the country who can perform mobility evaluations as required by Medicare for coverage of power mobility devices, especially if the patient is home-bound or has no transportation to the physician’s office.

We are also in need of physicians who would like to become part of our network of professionals who will perform mobility evaluations in the office as well. We will refer patients in need of these evaluations and obtain the results from the visit.

Physicians must accept Medicare and charge the standard fee for a visit. However, physicians are also entitled to charge an additional fee for the completion of the mobility evaluation under Medicare. This fee is approximately $22 (depending on the area) IN ADDITION to the fee for the visit.
