Tucson, AZ: Excellent GS, laparoscopic and Bariatric surgery opportunit! Fourth GS to join busy & very successful single-specialty group with 1 VS and 3 GSs. All surgeons in group are BC in VS or GS. Also in the process of recruiting an additional VS. The new GS will do all types of GS and laparoscopic surgery. If new surgeon is skilled and wants to perform Bariatric surgery, there is definite opportunity to do so. This skill is optional. The incoming surgeon needs to be BE or BC in General Surgery. Call rotation will be 1:5. When hire the second VS, general call will be 1:6. Surgery is done at two hospitals which are approximately five miles apart. The group owns a Diagnostic Vascular Laboratory for leg, pain and other vascular problems. Six cardiology groups refer to this practice, which keep them very busy. Starting base salary of $250,000-$275,000 plus productivity incentive and comprehensive benefits package (including a 401K plan). Partnership after 2 yrs. GS partners are making $400,000 plus. After overhead expense met, receive 100% of collections! Very small buy in.
