Extremely busy general surgery practice. Broad scope of General Surgery including vascular, GI/endoscopy, breast, laparoscopic, etc…Well managed and efficiently run clinic. Patient mix has somewhat higher than average Medicare due to market demographics, average amount of HMO/PPO/POS but no capitation and low Medicaid.
Looking to add third partner as an independent contractor. Each physician in group operates as separate corporation (separate tax id) under an Office and Cost Sharing Agreement.
Community is a great place to live. Very good public schools, low crime, low to average cost of living. Lakes, mountains, arts, many festivals, amusement/water park, good restaurants, shopping, most religious affiliations, municipal airport, 45 minutes to Little Rock and Little Rock airport. Salary range: $250,000.
CME: Included in expense allocation, usually $2500
4 weeks – 3 weeks vacation, 1 week CME
Malpractice insurance: Included in expense allocation. Tail coverage not included unless new carrier can provide prior acts coverage by starting physician at mature premium. This can be negotiable depending on candidate and other terms of offer.
Health/disability insurance: Included in expense allocation
TSA/Profit Sharing/Retirement: Included in expense allocation
Relocation expenses: Up to $10,000 of actual moving expense.
One year partnership track. Practice is set up in two corporations – operating corp and asset corp. Can buy into one, both or neither.
