Single specialty group doing bread & butter cases are actively recruiting for another General Surgeon to add to their team. Need is due to growth of the community. Competitive compensation package is offered to the qualified candidate. Hospital is a beautiful 111-bed, state-of-the-art facility.

Practice is located Antioch with a local population of 101,000 and a service draw of 265,000. Antioch is a growing community located in Contra Costa County, and has the gift of being the "Gateway to the Delta", the point where the Sacramento and the San Joaquin Rivers come together and continue on to the Pacific Ocean.

The City of Antioch maintains 294 acres of land developed as public parks and recreation areas with a wide range of facilities that offer something for everyone. Outside the City's park system, Black Diamond Coal Mines, a historical preserve dating back to the 1860’s represents 3,650 acres of history and local beauty. Contra Loma Regional Park, 776 acres located at the edge of the Black Diamond Mine preserve, is a popular hiking, picnicking and swimming spot.

Antioch has two challenging 18 hole Golf Courses, with several courses in the surrounding communities, both public and private. There is a water park, which was built in 1996 and a skate park.
