4248 - A California hospital has a locum tenens job opportunity for a General Surgeon to cover call. This call coverage will be paid at full 8-hour day rates. There will be opportunities for ongoing, monthly assignments as well. The facility prefers a board certified surgeon, but will also consider non-boarded physicians. No elective surgery or clinic will be scheduled. Very moderate volume. No heavy trauma, vascular, or thoracic procedures are needed. This is a gorgeous part of the state. The town itself is a cultural and resort center. This is a wonderful opportunity to combine work and recreation. I have personally visited this community and hospital and absolutely loved both.
