Join three other General Surgeons as an employee of a medical group. Surgical oncology would be a plus. Work in a new state-of-the-art medical center. Call will be 1 in 4. The hospital has been a Top 100 Hospital for two consecutive years and it continues to increase market share. There are five OR's . Work in a new state-of-the-art medical center. Currently the community is in the process of building a new state-of-the-art hospital. There is an excellent benefit package including malpractice, health, vacation, CME, etc. Salary will be $300,000 plus and a signing bonus.
This community is located 90 miles from Macon, and 90 miles from Savannah, and is 170 miles to Atlanta. It has local population of 15,000 and a service draw of 110,000. The community has industrial, agriculture and manufacturing economy, low cost of living, and low crime rate. There are excellent public schools and many good two and four-year colleges in the state of Georgia for higher education with the Hope Scholarship available.
