Midwest university community seeks a general surgeon to join their single specialty group. It is a very busy practice performing general bread and butter surgery and vascular if you so desire. Call will be 1 in 3. You will be employed by the hospital with a salary guarantee in the upper $200K to $300K plus production. There is a signing bonus and loan forgiveness. The benefits package is highly competitive with malpractice, health, dental, disability, relocation, etc. There is minimal managed care penetration. You will work in a modern medical office complex, well-equipped surgical unit with plans for expansion, state of the art diagnostic services and 100 bed facility.
Opportunity is located in West-Central Illinois one hour from Springfield. Community has a local population of 20,000 with a service draw of 50,000. Children can attend an excellent public school system and have the opportunity of higher education by attending the Western Illinois University. The strong economy is built on agriculture, manufacturing, industrial and education.
