Become an employed General Surgeon at a rural critical access hospital. Join 1 other GS with 13 primary care providers as your referral base. It is the only hospital in the county with the clinic attached to the hospital. Hospital has recently completed a new renovation of $3 million to their operating department. Seeking bread and butter surgeon with laparoscopy skills and interest in other area are a possibility. Excellent guaranteed salary with a bonus. This opportunity is located in a rural community in the southwest corner of Calhoun County on State Highway 175 and County Road N-41. Rich Iowa soil and green rolling hills surround this community, and is situated within 25 minutes of three beautiful lakes: Twin Lakes, Black Hawk Lake, and Swan Lake, all great fishing spots. Education is very important to the community and has a very good public school system.
