Looking for a general surgeon who wants to practice in north/central MN. You will be joining a large multi-specialty group. With the expansive service region and built-in referral support network you can expect to enjoy a healthy general surgery practice. It will include a varied selection of general surgery procedures including upper and lower GI, hernias, biopsies, gall bladder, and colorectal and limited trauma. On a traditional day you will see eight to ten outpatients with three to six inpatients. Access to both day surgery and the main OR's in the hospital is excellent. Call is expected to be 1:5. You will join four Board certified general surgeons. The client offers a guaranteed competitive salary floor for the first two years, with the potential to generate a higher salary above the floor.
