Job Description

Hospital in southern Maryland is seeking a Medical Oncologist. This is a 110-bed full-service, acute care facility. The Cancer Care Center is an Outpatient Infusion Center that allows a comforting, caring environment staffed with skilled clinicians and providers caring for patients in the Center which is attached to the hospital. The Medical Oncologist will receive competitive compensation package, attractive benefits package with availability for Continuing Medical Education credits both on-site, as well as financial assistance for off-site CME's. The Medical Oncologist will have paid holidays off in addition to the accrual of paid vacation time. Call will be minimal and mostly consultative due to the active Hospitalist program with the Hospital. They will handle all admitting for the physician.

Work in a small community of 1,896 which has a service draw from St. Mary’s County of 96,000. Housing is generally single family in small scattered developments with a few townhouses and apartments. Enjoy many beautiful parks, lots of outdoor activities on land and water. Museums, dining, shopping, theatre, Washington DC for other activities. Good public, parochial and private schools. Many facilities for higher education are located around the area and surrounding cities.
