Two new practice opportunities available in northern Alabama. The following are a few details pertaining to both.
(1) Hospitalist needed to join 1 other in a 7 “on” and 7 “off “ shifts, only take call when it is your 7 on, when off, no call. May also work additional ER shifts when off, if you wish. Excellent 2 year salary 165k plus incentives, including full comprehensive benefits. Hospitalists cover all unassigned ER admits and direct admissions from the outpatient physicians. Great lifestyle.
(2) Hospital is looking to set up Internal medicine physician in practice with 1 year income guarantee with a 3 year pay back. Hospital will assist in the marketing and support of practice. There is also some debt repayment that can be arranged. Hospital takes all unassigned ER call. Could share call with 3 local independent physicians. Medial office space available on campus or close proximity. For those who want to be their own boss and still have support from the hospital until it gets up and running.
Location is 30 minutes outside of Huntsville, AL and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Birmingham. Very strong economy base, 20 Fortune 500 companies, 3M, GE, Boeing, etc. There is something for everyone, many outdoor activities, beautiful lakes, pro-fishing, hunting, hiking, biking and nice quiet trails. Go shopping, visit the NASA space center in Huntsville, theater, fine dining or just enjoy a nice relaxing day on one of several large lakes in the area.
