Parkway Medical Center (120 beds) is seeking another Hospitalist. The Hospitalist will be salaried with a full benefit package, including malpractice, health, life, and disability insurance. A relocation allowance and CME allowance will also be provided. Medical education debt repayment assistance may be provided, if needed.
Parkway Medical Center is a 120-bed general, acute care facility, conveniently located in Northern Alabama. The hospital serves Morgan and Lawrence counties, with a population base in excess of 150,000. The hospital's medical staff of 122 physicians offers a broad range of specialties, including: cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, general and thoracic surgery, pulmonology, orthopedic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, gynecology, urology, dermatology and neurosurgery, as well as family medicine, internal and pediatric medicine and primary care practices. Parkway's support services include: pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, pathology, cardiopulmonary, nuclear medicine, physical/occupational therapy, ultrasound and a GI lab. The hospital operates an eight-bed intensive care unit (ICU), complete with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, a four-room operating suite and a 24-hour emergency department staffed with full-time emergency room (ER) physicians. Parkway has a women's and children's center which includes obstetrical services.
