We have a fantastic opportunity for an IM physician to join another solo IM physician to work as a hospital. This unique hospitalist position allows the physician to work "regular" hours, then after rounds made, most call can be handled via phone. Call 1:3 weekdays (Monday - Thursday) and call weekends 1:3.

The solo physician that is searching is the largest volume admitter to our hospital and he also admits to our major competitor.

Job will consist of average of 20 patient rounded on per day with an average of 5 admits per day. Patient population is 18 years of age and older, critical care and general med-surg patients. All sub-specialties available for consult if needed (cardiology, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, etc.)

Employment will be with solo physician. He is offering a first year income guarantee of $180,000 - $200,000 based on experience and malpractice coverage for year 1. Full partnership after first year, productivity based salary after first year.
