Job Description
Location: This small community boasts many big city advantages. Featuring such attractions as: symphonies, museums, jazz and blues festivals, airshows, and major sports! There are many schools (public and private). Just two hours from Chicago and Indianapolis!
Facility/Opportunity: This growing hospitalist program is administered by a multi-specialty clinic in coordination with a local 300+ bed community hospital. Responsibilities include percentage of admissions, rounding on floors, hospital committee work, inpatient IM consultation for surgical services, and utilization management. Block scheduling, 7 days on /7 days off. New admission 1:12 call shared with rotating hospitalist/IM coverage. No managed care contracts, excellent fee for service reimbursement (well above Medicare) from all commercial and PPO insurance companies.
Compensation: Excellent Compensation! $200,000 guaranteed minimum for up to 2 years with compensation potential up to $250,000. Membership/Partnership: After 2 years. Other benefits include sign on bonus, relocation and CME.
