BE/BC Hospitalist/Internal Medicine or Family Practice physician is needed for a Hospitalist position in northern Indiana. The Hospitalist will have 1820 patients at the most and work a block schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off. This position has full benefits and is paying $210K plus $30K in bonuses. In addition the Hospitalist will be further compensated for night time shifts. By October 2009 a new hospital will be opening. The new state of the art hospital will have a Cancer Center Cardiology Center Neurosurgery and Neurology centers. ICU experience and ACOS certification is preferred and Geriatric and/or Geriatric Psych experience is a plus. This city is upscale affluent and a family oriented community. Location is within 35 miles of 12 colleges and universities.
