Hospitalist Position Open in Great Family-Centered Community
Board Certified/Board Eligible internal Medicine physician to join busy Hospitalist practice Iowa.
This nine-person group provides inpatient care for approximately 45 family practitioners and 10 general surgeons. The group functions autonomously, but within a large multi-specialty clinic system.
100% of the workload is inpatient . Flexible scheduling. Twelve hour shifts.
Consultative services are also rendered for neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology and gastroenterology and the emergency department. Therapeutic and diagnostic internal medicine predominant, with some critical care as well.

This is an energetic, dynamic group. The current members are hard working and family oriented. The individual we are seeking should have high energy, strong clinical skills and be able to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and referring physicians.
Our clinics, which is incorporated, is an affiliate of the medical center which has three metro area campuses in the community and surrounding suburbs. Currently, 22 clinics make up our system: 11 Family Practice clinics, 3 Pediatric clinics, 2 Internal Medicine clinics, Psychiatry, ENT, Neurology, Rheumatology, Surgery and Geriatrics. Our clinics leads the market share for outpatient clinics in the area.
