Well-established 263-bed hospital, providing care within the city of Lafayette, LA and a region best known as “Acadiana” located in south central LA.
A Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System hospital with service lines that include Cardiovascular and Neuro/Orthopedic. Annual ED visits are 27,000. The medical staff includes physicians in more than 35 medical specialties.
The Hospitalist Team will provide on-site service 24/7. Shifts are generally 7 am – 7 pm, 7 pm - 7 am. The schedule consists of four to seven days on; four to seven days off. Each full time hospitalist will work 192 hours per month, consisting of approximately 16 twelve-hour shifts.
The Hospitalist Team will provide service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
The Hospitalist Program is an integral component for the delivery of inpatient healthcare at the Hospital.
