HOSPITALIST - Come join an expanding 8 year old Hospitalist Program at a 228 bed, full service hospital with all specialties. Schedule consists of 35-40 hours a week, 140 hours per month, 1680 hours per year! This is the lowest scheduled hours for Hospitalist programs in the country for comparable pay. 8-10 hour days; typically 4-5 days on/off but flexible. Approximately 30 overnight shifts a year required unless you desire more. Dedicated rounders and admitters. Admitters average 1.5 admissions per hour. Hospitalists see adult patients only and provide ICU care with Intensivist back-up. Nocturnist schedule on a part-time or full-time basis. Moonlighting shifts available. Great group dynamics and full support from Administration and the Medical Staff Hospital.
Progressive community hospital invites BE/BC Hospitalists to expand a 7 person Hospitalist Program. Our program provides nearly 100% of the medical care for inpatients. Hospitalists work an average of 14 shifts per month in a 4 on 4 off schedule. Outstanding schedule provides the physician with quality of life as a priority. Schedules are made up 3-6 months in advance allowing for improved integration of career and family. Only 28-30 overnight shifts/year but flexible if you desire more. Dedicated daily admitter. Service will comprise only of 10-15 patients per shift allowing for increased "face" time with patients. NP and PA support for the Hospitalists in the ED and on the floors.
