Job Description
A hospital is seeking Hospitalist locum tenens coverage for their program in Massachusetts. Ideal candidates will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine. The average patient volume is 12-15 per shift. Some ICU coverage is necessary, but vent management and central line placements are not required. Shifts are Monday-Friday and every fourth weekend and the hours are 7 a.m.-4 p.m., with offsite call 6 a.m.-7 a.m. and 4 p.m.-7 p.m. There is no night call, as there is a nocturnist to cover. This hospital has 52 beds and specialty back-up.
