Bixby Medical Center (ProMedica Health Systems) is an 88-bed community hospital located in Adrian, Michigan.
The medical staff includes physicians who represent more than 20 medical specialties.
This modern facility offers most services to a community of 20,000 with a market area if 100,000 including, State of the Art Radiologic services that includes a 16-Slice CT; 1.5 Tessla MRI; On-Site BC Radiology Staff and NightHawk coverage.
Dedicated Invasive Cath Lab and Non-Invasive Heart Services with 1 Full-Time BC Cardiologist on-staff.
First hospital in the state to implement the EICU (Enhanced Intensive Care Unit) program, which provides monitoring 24/7 by Critical Care Nurses and supervised on-site by an intensivist physician.
The Hospitalist Team of three full and part-time physicians will be on site 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Day shifts are generally 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on-call 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and schedule consists of 4-7 days on and 4-7 days off. Each full time hospitalist will provide up to 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month consisting of sixteen 12 hour shifts.
The Hospitalist Team provides service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
