Job Description

30317 - A large health system in the upper regions of Michigan is seeking a Hospitalist on a locum tenens basis to assist their multi-specialty group by covering about 7 days of locums per month on an ongoing basis. With this job opportunity, the locums will work either a standard day shift consisting of 7:45 am to 5:00 pm or an in-house night shift which would be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 am. Locum tenens physician will share responsibilities with a midlevel during the day and will see approximately 15-20 patients on average per day, including on the floor and admits. Also, the locums will help cover the ICU, make rounds, and do admissions, which consist of about 2-5 during the day and about 4 on average at night.
