Job Description

Group of 8 Internists seeking colleague that is BC/BE to join their practice. 3 internists primarily focus their practice in the outpatient setting while 5 internists focus their practice on the inpatient setting as Hospitalists. All 8 internists share equally in the night call and weekend rounding rotation which is 1:8. 2 Nurses round with the Hospitalists during the week to help coordinate care. Hospitalists round on patients from their Internal Medicine group as well as provide consult services to colleagues in the hospital and take un-assigned patients from the Emergency Room.

Multi-specialty practice of 80 physicians. 8 Internal Medicine physicians in a group practice with the ability to focus your practice on inpatient/hospitalist medicine or outpatient clinic practice. Opportunity to perform clinic based procedures such as stress tests, endoscopy, pulmonary function, and other internal medicine procedures.

Block scheduling concept with week on/week off model. Work within an Internal Medicine group practice with several colleagues with the clinic co-located in the same building as the hospital. Easy access to imaging, lab, rehab, and all services at the Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center. Electronic Medical Record in the clinic and hospital setting. The Lakes Regional Medical Center recently completed a brand new ICU and Emergency Department expansion.
