Job Description
We are assisting a 120 physician Multispecialty Group with the recruitment of two additional Hospitalists, bringing the dept to a total of 6 providers. Following are some points of interest:
Group admits and manages patients at the 2 local hospital facilities located 7 miles apart.
At present, 2 physicians cover the larger facility, 1 covers the smaller community hospital, and the 4th rotated position serves as a “floater”, working where needed.
Hospitals have Intensivist Physicians for their closed units. Hospitalist providers primarily admit and manage patients of the group, but there are a number of solo practices in the area which also utilize the service. Program has a new Medical Director, therefore, the work schedule and compensation package is being assessed at this time.
