Join group of 6 Hospitalists in a hospital employed position. Physicians are currently working 7 on, 7 off schedule. Physicians are working 12 hour shifts. 2 physicians work the day shift and 1 physician works the evening shift. Group is recruiting for Director as well as a Staff Hospitalist. Compensation in the $190K to $225K range for a Director. Compensation in the $160K to $185K range for Staff Hospitalist. A full benefit package is also provided. Docs are typically responsible for 15 to 18 inpatients. Some ICU work is required.

The practice opportunity is located in a community that is conveniently located 50 miles north of New York City and not far from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, in scenic Eastern Orange County. It is situated in the valley formed by the Schunemunk Mountain and the Hudson Highland ridges along the Hudson River.

There are many beautiful things to see here and fun things to do. For starters, spend a day at the Art Center or The Museum of the Hudson Highlands. Enjoy hiking in a forest or any of their other scenic trails. Picnic along the shore of the Hudson, stroll down Main Street, shop in their unique stores or enjoy a meal at one of their many fine restaurants.
