Job Description

Location: The City has a little over an hour access to Oklahoma City and a little less than an hour to Tulsa. Great area sitting off of Kaw Lake. Alot of people own homes around the lake. The City has its own airport and is well known in the state as the best small town to live in. Largest water park in the state is located in this area and great shopping, movie theaters, golf courses, museums, galleries and restaurants all rank highly. Low crime, great public and private schools.

Facility/Opportunity: Medical Center is a 140+ bed JCAHO hospital. The hospitalist program is 5 on 7 off hospital employed position. The shifts are 7am to 5pm and the average patient volume is 15 patients per shift. When on during the 5 days the physicians round, do admissions, take consults then when done with their day go home and take call for admissions. They come in at most twice a week at night. Facility offers a Level 11 trauma center with 24 hour emergency care. With over 25 specialties represented. Any major trauma is shipped to Tulsa or Oklahoma City.
