J-1: YES H-1b: YES
1:3 ICU coverage shared with 2 Intensivist / Pulmonologists, & approximately 1 week in 6 attending for our Family Medicine residents doing inpatient Medicine rotation. Must be able to function independently in the ICU, though fellowship training is not required. Because this is not a FT Intensivist position, the balance of the time will be performing Hospitalist duties. Quality health services and community support have been the tradition at the Medical Center since we opened our doors in 1965. Located in the region of Oregon, our community sits on the shore of a lake, and is nestled into the slopes of the Cascade Mountains. While Oregon is often known for rain, the region enjoys nearly 300 days of sunshine each year. Our community is a 45,000 population rural community, and our facility has a wider service population of 100,000. Dozens of schools, including four private schools, and two institutions of higher education provide a safe and healthy environment for growing families. An airline company serves the International Airport with three flights daily. Greyhound bus lines and Amtrak trains also serve the area.
