Hospitalist
Job Description
A 300 bed hospital in Portland, Oregon seeks Hospitalist coverage. Candidates must be Board Certified with an active ACLS sub-certification and OR state medical license. Shifts are 12 hours long (7 to 7) and the locum physician will be assisted by a quality support staff that includes competent nurses, patient care staff, clerical and technical in all areas served by the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for the following areas of coverage: ICU, Med Surg Units, ED unassigned patients and patients from referring PCP's. The candidate should expect to see between 12 to 15 patients per your twelve (12) hour shift.
