Job Description

Location: 20 miles to downtown Philly. Easy access and commutable distance with the way Philadelphia are is set up. Great area for colleges with Temple close by, Hahnemann, Villanova and Widener College in the area.

Facility/Opportunity: Large Multi-specialty group with hospitalist contract to cover a 140+ bed med/surg hospital with 10 bed ICU. Position is to work with other hospitalists as they grow the program. Initially this position will start out as a nocturnist position and then move to a full time 7 on 7 off position. Current schedule would be to work every Tuesday and Wednesday night from 6pm-6am. Then alternate weekends where you would work Saturday 6pm-6am and Sunday 6pm-6am. They aver 3-4 admissions per night and rounding. One week you would work Tuesday and Wednesday, then next week you would work Tuesday Wednesday Saturday and Sunday. They project that by 1/09 they will be fully staffed with another hospitalist to then move to block schedules.

Compensation: Starting Salary is competitive for the area and includes potential for additional bonuses and partnership in the group. Full benefits provided.
